Our Summer Community Service
Therapy Dog Visits
This Summer our family has been busy making weekly visits to a local nursing home. We usually spend about a half hour to an hour talking and visiting with the residents. Sophie is always welcomed by the residence with large smiles, pats, hugs and kisses.
Last week we made our 40th visit!
Our goal is to make 50 visits this Summer so that we can complete Sophie's AKC Therapy Dog Title.

Often we will bring some of Sophie's furry or feathers friends with us.
Such as our Guinea Pig "Henry", "Kloie" our cat, or several of our bantam chickens.
We all enjoy our weekly visits and often receive more joy than we give :)
